My car goal

My goal is to buy a book named "City of Bones".
The book will cost $19.80
I believe that this goal is achievable.
A realistic time frame for this is approximately 26 days or more.
This goal is as realistic as it could ever get so I believe it is easily within my reach.

Moon

Has many forms but can't change shapes

Cannot shine by itself with out the help of others

There are may but they keep their distances from each other

Lights up the midnight sky even in its darkest moments

Shines brighter than any star except the sun itself

Reflects off the ocean causing people to stare in awe

A Goddess Cries in the rain

Stopping...

As the sound fades,

And rain falls from above,

As if a goddess was crying,

Mourning

Ships Ahoy!

Our task was to make Bascule Bridge which is like the Tower Bridge in London.

We liked how the centre opened for the ships to get through because our design came into reality.

Our plan worked because we worked as a team and also made some small altercations.

We felt that the design was awesome because it looked like the Tower Bridge and it was stable.

Next time we wish our bridge would have more thought, be more attractive and appealing to the wider audience.

Hopefully next time we build a bridge it will be more symmetrical, creative and levelled at the same height.

Ocean Haiku Poem

Reflections of stars,
As the moon paints the picture,
In the endless sea.

Taleahn is awesome poem

Taleah is the best for a lot of reasons
Awesome in so many ways that I don't  want to tell you
Like the best person ever
Amazing because i'm me
Every day I become more awesome
Happy like all the time(jokes) :)

This is not a real poem

Our School

My school means everything to me, they taught me how to read, write, spell and do maths. I think it would be wrong if they try and shutdown my school. This school doesn't only help the kids but also helps the adults that live in our community and the soldiers by allowing their children to go to a school they trust in a community they trust. Even though I wont be here when they shutdown this school, I do care about this place and I will fight for my community.

Being trustful kind and a safe community.
Understanding of those around us.
Really helpful for those who are in need.
Never turning their Back on a comrade.
Has a really positive atmosphere around the school and place.
A really cheerful place.
Military who helps and fights for their countries and allies.

My awesome performence

It seemed like it was night time at the dark CBS arena, with all the lights looking down on the stage. I thought I would have got used to the whole getting butterflies in my stomach thing seeming It was my third time time going on stage with The Burnham School Kapa Haka group.

I was so nervous going onto stage, but my best friend Hannah just told me "kia kaha" and I did. When we walked on stage I stood tall and showed no sign of nervousness. The boys led with a strong Haka which got my hopes up. Their Haka showed how tough they were, it was just so amazing. Then the girls had the best leaders ever, which were Hannah, Britteney and the most brilliant of the all was I Taleah herself. We led off with a loud and awesome start. We had the best performance ever!

My mask

I have changed most of the things on my mask because I just wanted to because I was having a lot of fun with it.

The hardest part on doing my mask was putting on the glue because I had to stay focused and concentrate but it was also the best part about making my mask.

The colors I used don't represent much I just used them because they suited each other I choose these colors because  I thought they would make the surrounding colors stand out and make them look awesome.

My mask is suitable for the Cultural Festival because it has a few Maori designs.

My mask shows my personality through I like to use a lot of different things

Statistical investigation learning

our groups statistical investigation was to see who could get the most shots in, boys or girls.

the type of graph that I created is call a pie graph.

the results show that boys and girls are both equal at shooting with both scores the same.

Speech & Mihi

the class said that I had good volume, good fluency and they think that my speech was well written.

the class wishes that I would make better eye contact, more expression and take my time.

I think next time i should have practiced more at home and choose a topic that i actually like so i can use better expression and make it sound more exciting.

my awesome bird

1)For the first step i had to trace a bird which i can't remember the name of.

2)next we had to lightly use some base crayons over the bird.

3)thirdly we had to mix in the colors and try to use as much detail as we could. f

4)after that we had to cover the picture in die.

next time I will try and take more time and patience with my work.

What I did bad was that my dying colors weren't that awesome.

What I did awesome was that I had my colors for my bird perfectly done well at my standards.
